INDOOR SOCCER; SHOULDER WITH SHOULDER

One of the things that some players (and parents) have difficulty with is accepting the fact that soccer is NOT a non contact sport. Besides the obvious times such as tackles to win a ball which most seem to understand, there are also the other times such as when shielding and during shoulder charges that the game can become very physical while still being played within the laws of the game
Even if this a true statement, we need to know that rules it's not applied in indoor soccer in the same way that outdoor.
Sometime player are charging another players so hard, sending the opponent violently against the wall: that's foul!
Indoor soccer is played in a hockey ring, but it is not hockey.
Shoulder with shoulder have a limit: safety.
It's clear that indoor have not the same amplitude that outdoor soccer, so many things allowed in this are not permited in indoor.

As an example, the National Federation for High School Soccer ruled: "Charging an opponent (A fair charge is one in which a player makes non-
violent shoulder-to-shoulder contact with an opponent, with the arms and elbows
close to his/her own body, at least one foot on the ground, and the ball within
playing distance)".
I remark: non-violent contact, and ball within playing distance".
A careless charge, even with shoulders is a foul. Period.
