INDOOR SOCCER CHECKLIST

Players

When you are going to play, remember:

  • Numbered Jersey: commonly a lot of people are going to play with a regular t-shirt without number, but most places have rules about numbered jersey (number must to be fixed: not tape, not markers).
  • Shorts: Usually rules are listing shorts in the rules about player equipment, but also is common to see player wearing long sports pants.
  • Socks
  • Shin Guards: Mandatory. You cant play without shin guards. They have to be entirely cover by the socks.
  • Soccer Shoes: Not football, not baseball shoes. Check your facilities rules, because many of them are banning outdoor soccer shoes.
  • Water or another drink. Sound stupid, but I can to see every day players that forget their drinks. When you play late in the night, not always concession stand are open.
  • Player ID Card: Essential issue. Not Card, Not Play. Period!.
  • No jewlery of any kind: except medical braclet may be worn during game play.
  • You must to be included in the team roster.
  • In many facilities home team have to provide the game ball.
